UCAS Support and Information
Applying to University and UCAS
Students that are following a Level 3 pathway and students are invited, along with their parents, to a dedicated UCAS Evening. This is in preparation for the Cardiff UCAS Exhibition where students can begin their research with representatives from hundreds of UK Universities. Sixth Form students also receive preparation for university through workshops with our colleagues in universities across the UK. Students are encouraged to visit Open Days to truly get a feel for the universities and courses they are considering. After student return from the AS examinations, they are supported through the UCAS registration process at our Introduction to the UCAS Process event.
All students in Year 13 will receive a dedicated UCAS mentor who will guide them through the challenge of the UCAS application process. Students will receive dedicated one-to-one time, where students will receive guidance in developing and structuring a Personal Statement that is specific to the course they wish to study at University.
Any queries about the UCAS process should be directed to Mrs Mills, UCAS Advisor for St Teilo’s, at firstname.lastname@example.org
